About
A plant reference and a notebook for growers
What GreenerThumbAI is for, what it actually does today, and how it treats your data.
Who it is for
People who keep plants and want reliable notes on them: carnivorous plant, orchid, aroid and succulent growers, from a first windowsill plant to a highland Nepenthes collection. Anyone can read the plant reference and guides. Keeping a collection needs an account, and accounts are by invitation from an existing grower while the community is small.
What you can do
- Look plants up. Species pages with habitat, growing conditions and credited photos, plus plain-language care guides.
- Keep a collection. Record plants and gardens, log growth with photos, and note watering, fertilizing, spraying, repotting and pruning.
- Set your own reminders. Reminders follow the schedule you choose for each plant; GreenerThumbAI does not decide when a plant needs water.
- Share if you want to. Make chosen plants public, ask the community to identify a plant, record wild sightings with protected locations, and offer photos to the reference.
- Ask for help, then decide. Where the AI features are switched on, they answer questions from the reference and can draft a log entry or plant details. Nothing is saved until you review it, and manual forms always work.
How your data is treated
Your collection is private unless you choose to share a plant or field. Exact sighting locations stay with you and moderators. Camera metadata such as GPS is removed from uploaded photos. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising, and you can delete your account and its data at any time. The privacy notice has the details, including how the AI features handle what you send them.
The little cactus you see around the app is Sabo, who also answers plant questions as the GreenerThumbAI assistant.
